ATLANTA (Jan. 20, 2021) – RangeWater Real Estate, a fully integrated multifamily real estate company, announced today the appointment of Brandon Corn as Director of Business Development in the Southwest. Corn will identify and grow third-party property management partnerships for the company, with a primary focus on key markets in Texas, Arizona and Colorado.

The new hire reflects RangeWater’s continued investment in the Southwest regions. Corn joins recent hire Erica Herald, Senior Regional Director of Property Management in the Southwest, to help spearhead business development with third parties. RangeWater’s current property management portfolio encompasses 53,762 units across 214 communities. In the Southwest specifically, RangeWater manages 10 communities throughout Texas and Colorado.

“Brandon brings a diverse background in property management to the team. His strong onsite operational experience and relationship-centric mindset is a great asset to the RangeWater team,” said Tracy Bowers, Executive Managing Director at RangeWater. “Having previously lived in Phoenix, Denver and Austin, Brandon brings a wealth of first-hand knowledge about major markets in the Southwest. We’re confident that his past experiences coupled with local ties to the region will further expand RangeWater’s presence in these markets.”

Based in Austin, Corn will primarily focus on identifying and strengthening third-party partnerships in lease-ups, new development, stabilized assets and single-family rental communities. His property management career began in Phoenix with onsite operations and he later took on a role with IT at Alliance Residential, overseeing the implementation and integration of sophisticated software programs across the company. Corn’s tech background helps him to better serve clients because of his deep understanding of property management software and various IT capabilities that help create more fulfilling experiences for residents.

“RangeWater has a contagious energy and incredible culture that stands out in the industry,” said Corn. “I knew I would be around colleagues and associates that had a similar dedication to the organization, as well as a desire to succeed both individually and collectively. I am excited to begin the new year working alongside a team that is passionate about the resident experience and can’t wait to contribute to RangeWater’s continued growth in the Southwest.”

Corn joins the RangeWater team with over 15 years of multifamily experience, where he has served in each level of community and portfolio operations, providing a well-rounded understanding of asset management. Corn has an Arizona Real Estate license and is a Certified Portfolio Manager candidate with the Institute of Real Estate Management.
