ATLANTA (Oct. 6, 2020) – RangeWater Real Estate, a fully integrated multifamily real estate company, announced today that Erica Herald has been hired as Senior Regional Director of Property Management in the Southwest. Herald will oversee current operations and source new business opportunities for RangeWater in Texas, Arizona, Nevada and Colorado.
The move reflects RangeWater’s continued investment in the Southwest region. Since announcing its expansion plans in 2018, RangeWater has established a presence with ten properties, including Pinnacle Ridge, Ross + Peak, Flats at the Sawyer, Lofts at the Sawyer and The Ele in Dallas, Texas; The Venue Craig Ranch in McKinney, Texas; Eastside Station in Austin, Texas; The Bennett Baytown in Baytown, Texas; Commons at Hollyhock in Katy, Texas; and The Armory in Boulder, Colorado.
“Erica will be at the helm of RangeWater’s property management expansion in the Southwest, a region where we have continued to see significant growth and advancement opportunities,” said Tracy Bowers, Executive Managing Director at RangeWater. “With her vast multifamily experience and local roots, Erica knows the markets and people well. We’re confident in her ability to lead the Southwest management portfolio and provide our residents with more fulfilling living experiences.”
Based out of Phoenix, Herald has worked on projects that span several markets throughout Arizona, including Tucson, Phoenix, Prescott and Flagstaff, as well as markets in Texas and Southern California. Her background encompasses a wide range of business strategies, including value-add acquisitions, lease-ups, stabilized assets, tax credit conversion properties and rehabs.
“I’ve worked in the property management business for 12 years and I’ve never met a company like RangeWater that possesses such a close-knit culture internally and then translates that culture externally to their work with residents,” said Herald. “The company’s reputation for being flexible and custom-tailoring management styles to best accommodate clients and residents drew me to this role. I look forward to working with such a well-respected team and advancing RangeWater’s property management presence throughout the Southwest.”
Herald’s 12 years of multifamily experience across nine states makes her an incredible asset to the RangeWater team. Prior to joining RangeWater, Herald held regional manager positions at Alliance Residential Company and Hawthorne Residential Partners. She originally moved to the Phoenix area with Aspen Square Management where she built a strong property management portfolio. Herald is an active member of the Arizona Multifamily Housing Association, where she was nominated for the Tribute Awards’ Regional Manager of the Year. She is also currently pursuing her Certified Property Manager designation with the Institute of Real Estate Management.
