As Senior Director of Business Development at RangeWater Real Estate, Danielle Koontz is responsible for the strategic growth of the company’s third-party management firm by cultivating relationships with new and existing clients, equity providers, lenders and brokerage firms. She has regional expertise across the Southwest region including Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Utah and Montana. Danielle’s day-to-day duties include assisting the firm’s clients, comprised of private owners, developers, and institutional clients, in evaluating submarkets, identifying development and acquisition opportunities, reviewing underwriting, and ensuring alignment and understanding of the investment strategy.

Danielle brings nearly 15 years of multifamily experience to this role. Prior to joining RangeWater in 2022, she held various operational, marketing and business development roles. Most recently, she led Strategic Growth efforts for a mid-sized firm overseeing eight states, enabling her to expand her knowledge of evolving markets and assist clients navigating highly competitive environments.

Danielle earned an MBA from Auburn University’s Harbert College of Business after graduating from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. She is actively involved in several industry associations including the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC), Urban Land Institute (ULI), The Real Estate Council (TREC) and CREW Dallas.
