Since joining RangeWater Real Estate in 2023, Jim is tasked with overseeing the firm’s financial health, focusing on the optimal capital structure, financing options, and strategic direction. His responsibilities extend to driving cash flow, managing performance, and leading the accounting and finance departments, aligning with RangeWater’s long-term vision and mission. Jim’s approach, centered on process improvement and team development, resonates deeply with the company’s commitment to achieving the goals of its investors, clients, partners, and employees.

Jim brings nearly three decades of experience to RangeWater Real Estate. His background includes serving as Chief Financial Officer at both RPM Living and CF Real Estate Services, where he managed diverse financial operations. Additionally, he held key positions at Key Property Services and Miles Properties, demonstrating his deep knowledge of the multifamily sector.

Jim holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a certificate of Double Major in Finance from Virginia Tech and obtained his CPA license in 1997. Beyond his professional realm, Jim is a passionate Virginia Tech Hokies enthusiast and enjoys spending his leisure time with family. His interests include traveling, running and playing tennis.
