The city of Acworth will soon be home to a new set of apartments that will rise next to a larger project that would breathe life into an old shopping center.
Pollack Shores has closed on the purchase of land on Cherokee Street next to Interstate 75 to build a 315-unit apartment community. The company said the units will have granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and a mix of vinyl-plank wood and carpet flooring.
The complex will have 12 buildings anchored by a 2.5-acre park. Amenities for the complex call for a fitness center, swimming pool and deck and a clubhouse.
