$37.9M apartment complex planned near UCF

An Atlanta-based developer plans to build a 230-unit apartment complex near the University of Central Florida.

Pollack Shores Real Estate Group wants to build the project on about 11.5 acres owned by multiple landowners, on the southeast corner of Dean Road and University Boulevard, according to city of Orlando records. It's part of a larger development on about 62 acres that could include 592 more apartments and a 115-room hotel with a 3,000-square-foot coffee shop. Orlando-based AC Properties 5 LLC is the developer behind the hotel and coffee shop.
