Braves’ SunTrust Park Apartments Reveal Range of Floorplans

Press Release

Next spring, The Battery in Cobb County will come alive as the Braves play their first game in SunTrust Park.

But baseball is far from the only thing hoping to draw people to the sprawling complex just OTP.

With work winding down on the stadium, construction is also plowing forward on apartments, a hotel, offices, retail, restaurants, and a theater. The Battery will be a 24-7 mixed-use mecca anchored by baseball, officials say.

Now, people interested in living in the action — which is probably a good idea for those wanting to catch a full game, considering getting to the stadium may be a nightmare — details have been released for the 531 apartments spread across three developments on site.

BuzzBuzz Home has spotlighted 23 different floorplans, ranging from 619-square-foot studios to three-bedroom, three-bathroom units that cover more than 1,500 square feet.

The three developments include “The Residences,” an 81-unit community set atop the Battery’s terrace, featuring a rooftop bar and wraparound balcony overlooking SunTrust Park; “Parkside,” a 211-unit apartment building featuring a premium club; and “The Flats,” a 239-unit building in the heart of the shopping district, which will have its own entertainment center with a bar, billiards, and cyber café.

While prices aren’t yet available for the Pollack Shores development, prices at surrounding buildings hint at studios starting at over $1,200, with the three-bedroom options soaring to nearly $4,000 per month.
