By Aiyana Cristal, CBS 46

Micro apartments are starting to pop up in parts of Atlanta in an effort to bring more affordable housing to the urban core.

A micro unit is defined as a 400-600-square-feet apartment. It’s the developers way to appeal to all demographics. Also, to make it affordable for people to still live in Atlanta.

The newest development is breaking ground just off Boulevard in Chosewood Park and will be complete in a year. The apartments will be right off the Beltline's Southside Trail.

Pollack Shores Real Estate Group is getting creative to appeal to everyone.
