RangeWater Adds Built-to-Rent Townhomes Along Southside Trail

ATLANTA (March 15, 2021) – RangeWater Real Estate, a fully integrated real estate company, closed on 110 build-to-rent townhomes along the Atlanta BeltLine’s Southside Trail. The townhomes come as part of the firm’s 325-unit apartment community at the 72 Milton Avenue site, officially named Maverick. First move-ins begin later this Summer.

The development of Maverick reflect’s RangeWater’s continued investment in the Southside Trail. RangeWater broke ground on the first section of Maverick last year, marking the firm’s second multifamily development on the corridor, in addition to Skylark. The two multifamily developments bookend a one-mile section of the Southside Trail, with Skylark on the east end and Maverick on the west end. The trail’s gravel surface and surrounding greenbelt provide a unique experience for this segment as compared to the paved and manicured trails of the Eastside, Westside and Northside Trails.

Maverick was the first RangeWater development to incorporate build-to-rent townhomes into the design. Each of the one-, two- and three-bedroom townhomes are 16 to 20 feet wide and include a garage. The Class A apartments and townhomes are designed to appeal to residents of all life stages, from graduate students and young professionals to families and empty nesters.

The project features a variety of social spaces that serve both apartment and townhome residents, including a clubhouse, expansive pool and fitness center, as well as a shaded pavilion and greenspace overlooking D.H. Stanton Park that will be open to both residents and the public. In addition, RangeWater has incorporated numerous feeder sidewalks into the design that allow residents to access the BeltLine directly from the community.
