Pollack Shores Real Estate Group said Wednesday it is targeting an April move-in for the first residents of its The Gossett, releasing a new image of the North Gulch-based mixed-used building in the process.

Relatedly, the Atlanta-based development company has opened a pre-leasing center at 1915 Church St.

The new image (pictured) highlights the soon-to-be completed building’s retail component, to be located at the northwest corner of the intersection of 12th Avenue North and Grundy Street.

Tyler Gaines, Pollack Shores vice president of development, said Nashville-based Southeast Venture will handle the marketing and leasing of the retail space, with Jon Petty, SEV director of retail services, overseeing the effort.

Gaines said the company is not ready to disclose any other details regarding the retail space.

Pollack Shores enlisted Midlothian, Virginia-based Poole & Poole Architecture to design The Gossett. In Nashville, P&P designed 23Hundred at Berry Hill and 11North in the North Gulch.

An estimated $80 million project, the building will include 367 upscale apartment units, about 9,000 square feet of retail space and a parking garage.

The 3.44-acre site is bounded by Church Street on the north, 12th Avenue on the east, Grundy Street on the south and George L. Davis Boulevard on the west.
