Pollack Shores Real Estate Group has closed on 1270 Spring Street, the Atlanta-based company’s new development that will include 259 luxury residential units, 14,000 square feet of retail space and 3,000 square feet of live/work space.

The central location of 1270 Spring Street provides easy access to MARTA, Whole Foods, Atlantic Station and West Midtown, the company said in a prepared statement.

The community will have parking for shoppers and residents hidden beneath the complex to allow for pedestrian access to shops and restaurants, the company adds.

A coffee shop and restaurant concept are being eyed to anchor the retail portion.

Atlanta Business Chronicle reported in July 2015 that Pollock Shores was planning the project along Spring Street, an important corridor for commuters driving into the heart of the city.

“We are excited to continue to bring the live, work, play lifestyle to the Midtown neighborhood," Pollack Shores’ Managing Director Michael Blair said this week. "Our goal is to help communities grow responsibly with a focus on quality of life and increasing walkability in the city of Atlanta."

The one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments will include large balconies, luxury plank flooring, large kitchen islands, granite and quartz countertops, under mount sinks, and pendant lighting.

The first units will likely be available by March 2018, with the final completion expected to be early summer 2018.

Matrix Residential, the multi-family residential management of Pollack Shores, will manage the residential portion of the property.

Pollack Shores’ most recent Georgia projects include The Jane, a 280-unit community and The Monroe, an upcoming 217-unit community, both adjacent to Bobby Jones Golf Course and Atlanta Memorial Park in Buckhead.
