RangeWater Boosts Florida Investment with Addition of Veteran Property Management Executive

Press Release

Jeremy Milton 1

ATLANTA (March 19, 2021) – RangeWater Real Estate announced today the hiring of Jeremy Milton as Senior Director of Property Management in Florida. Milton, who previously worked for RangeWater, will primarily support and oversee operations for the southeast Florida property management team as well as work alongside the new business development team nationally.

Milton joins Josh Colter, Director of Acquisitions, to further catalyze RangeWater’s commitment to expansion throughout the region. Florida is home to RangeWater’s second-largest portfolio of properties, including successful projects One Boynton in Boynton Beach and Solano at Miramar, just minutes away from Miami and Fort Lauderdale. With the addition of Milton, the real estate company looks to also extend its third-party property management arm in Florida’s active markets.

“We are confident Jeremy’s background in operations and dedication to building strong client relationships will propel our property management investment in Florida forward,” said Tracy Bowers, Executive Managing Director at RangeWater. “His abundant energy and drive to support others makes him a great addition to the senior leadership team we’re creating for this region.”

Based in Fort Lauderdale, Milton will focus on extending the footprint in both the southeastern and southwestern Florida markets, and capitalizing on the new construction momentum in Tampa and Orlando. He will also work alongside the new business development team to expand RangeWater’s presence nationally. Milton is passionate in immersing Florida in the RangeWater brand and introducing the company’s unparalleled culture and operational excellence to the region.

Milton first joined RangeWater in 2019, where he served as Director of Property Management and was directly responsible for the day-to-day operations of 10,000 units, spanning key markets in Dallas, Austin, Houston, Jacksonville, Tampa, Orlando and Fort Lauderdale. He has deep experience in multifamily and property management in the South Florida region.

“RangeWater’s genuine entrepreneurial spirit and uniquely cultivated culture drew me to the company and this role,” said Milton. “I’ve worked in operations for over 13 years and have never worked with a group that brings home the overall feeling of a smaller boutique organization with the large footprint of an institutional organization so well. I’m excited to continue building strong relationships between the operations team and owners in Florida.”

Milton has established a strong presence in both the property management and real estate industries. He has obtained certifications as a Certified Apartment Manager (CAM), Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS) and is currently pursuing his Certified Property Manager (CPM) with the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). He is an active member of South Florida’s IREM chapter and serves on the executive committee for the South East Florida Apartment Association (SEFAA) as well as board member and treasurer of the Apartment Political Action Committee (APAC) for the Florida Apartment Association.
