Director of Development

Matthew Beck is a Director of Development focusing on projects in Charleston and Nashville. Matthew is responsible for land acquisition in these markets, as well as managing the development of build-to-rent, mid-rise and garden multifamily projects—from site planning and design through construction, lease-up, and disposition.

Prior to joining RangeWater, Matthew was director of real estate advisory for a New York City based firm, advising clients on affordable housing and mixed-use development. Matthew has served as a guest lecturer on affordable housing finance at New York University’s Schack Institute of Real Estate, and has a background in politics and public policy.

Matthew holds a Master’s degree in Real Estate Development from Columbia University, a Master’s degree in Public Policy from George Washington University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University Bloomington. Matthew lives in Atlanta with his wife and daughter.
